Jennifer Gilliam, Attorney
I became an attorney to stand beside people during some of the most difficult and uncertain times in their lives. At Wolf Law Center, I represent clients in both misdemeanor and felony matters, handling trials, motions, and sentencing arguments in General District and Circuit Court. My goal in every case is to provide strong advocacy, clear guidance, and a voice for my clients in the courtroom.
Before joining Wolf Law Center, I built a diverse background in both criminal and civil law through clerkships and internships with judges, public defenders, and private firms. My experience ranges from drafting judicial opinions and bench briefs to conducting legal research, preparing motions, and meeting with clients at the jail. This foundation taught me the value of thorough preparation, attention to detail, and compassion in client advocacy.
I earned my Juris Doctor from the Appalachian School of Law, where I was actively involved in the Energy and Mineral Law Society, Environmental Law Society, and Women in Law Society. I also completed a Natural Resources Certificate as part of my studies. Prior to law school, I received my Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Hollins University.
