At Wolf Law Center, Whitney brings a client-centered approach, ensuring that each person she represents receives a vigorous defense. She is committed to fighting for justice, challenging systemic inequities, and advocating for second chances.
Whitney King, Attorney
Whitney is a dedicated and zealous advocate for individuals facing criminal charges. Formerly an Assistant Public Defender in local county, she litigated multiple jury trials and successfully argued motions leading to the dismissal of felony charges. Her courtroom experience includes handling bond motions, sentencing arguments, and post-conviction modifications in both General District and Circuit Courts. She has also contributed to homicide defense strategies by preparing critical motions for lead attorneys and served as second chair on manslaughter cases with Wolf Law Center.
A graduate of the University of Richmond School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctorate cum laude, Whitney was actively involved in public interest law and leadership. She served as President of If/When/How – Lawyering for Reproductive Justice and worked with the Children’s Defense Clinic, where she represented minors in juvenile justice proceedings, advocated for parents in diversion programs, and assisted with parole hearings for juveniles sentenced to life imprisonment.
Before law school, Whitney earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Temple University, where she developed strong analytical and strategic skills that she now applies to her legal practice. Her commitment to social justice extends beyond the courtroom—she has mentored children in the foster care system through an entrepreneurial program and tutored students in Title I schools in Richmond.
